Author Neil Gaiman and illustrator Chris Riddell explain, in this short illustrated essay why our world needs libraries and why reading fiction is a good thing.
Here are some step by step instructions, with screenshots, for using our new In Context databases: Science in Context, Opposing Viewpoints in Context and Canada in Context. Use the download arrow if you want to print a copy for yourself.
NEW for the 2018-2019 school year
In order to improve the quality of the research resources we can provide for you, we have switched our database subscription. We are now subscribing to a collection of databases from Gale including Canada in Context, Science in Context, Opposing Viewpoints in Context and Literature Resource Center.
These four databases are now available on our database page. No username required and the password is the same one you used with the old databases.
For students new to CCI, there is only ONE password you need to remember - it opens the Password tab on the menu bar above, which lists ALL the passwords you might need for a number of CCI resources. Ask a teacher or teacher-librarian for the ONE password.
More information on these databases and how to use them to follow!
